Lord of The Rings flight!

We flew a big group of people on our Lord of The Rings location tour a during the summer. Here they are taking a short break on the airstrip at Glenorchy before heading off towards the sites where Isengard and the battle scene at the end of The Fellowship were filmed. This is all part of our Two Ring Tour, you can find a detailed desciption of the tour under Destinations at the top of this page.

Scenic Flight to Mount Cook

Mount Cook has got its hat on, Hip hip hip Hooray!. Yesterday we had lovely flying conditions for a trip up to Mount Cook, New Zealand's tallest peak. The Tasman, Fox and Franz Josef glaciers were simply stunning in the morning sun. I was snap happy as Mount Cook stood tall with it's head in the clouds! (The cloud sitting on the peak of Mount Cook is called cap cloud and is caused by mountain wave).

If you fancy a scenic flight to Mount Cook and the glaciers, don't hesitate to get in touch – you will not be disappointed!
