No, but there are food options available for purchase when we land in Mt. Cook. You are also welcome to bring any snacks of your own you might like.
If you are keen to do one of the longer walks, like the Hooker Valley Track, you’ll want to have a picnic lunch to take with you as there won’t be much time for you to head to one of the cafes.

No. As we operate fixed-wing aircraft, we are unable to land on glaciers. Your landing for this trip will be on a runway/airstrip on the outskirts of Mt. Cook Village.
We do have options when booking online for you to add on a glacier landing via either a ski plane or helicopter.
My parents and I flew with Glenorchy Air to and from Queenstown-Mt Cook with a helicopter flight/landing on the Tasman Glacier for my mums birthday, and it was the most amazing experience! Not only was it worth every penny but James our pilot was so kind, knowledgeable and had all the time in the world for us! We asked to change our date near the last minute and they were so lovely and accommodating! The helicopter company even put together a little surprise picnic on the glacier for us to celebrate mums birthday (I brought the champagne hehe) It was a phenomenal day! An absolute highlight of our lives! Thank you sooo much Glenorchy Air!
