Glenorchy Air is looking for a self-motivated, well-organised individual to join our busy scenic flight company as a Ground Operations coordinator & frontline customer service team member.
Working within a fast-paced, demanding environment coordinating
departures to Milford Sound, Mt. Cook, Stewart Island & Beyond.
You will be responsible for the overall smooth running of day to day operations whilst ensuring our passengers receive exceptional customer service. We are currently rated as Queenstown’s number 1 Activity on Tripadvisor and work hard to deliver an exceptional door to door service to our passengers.
Duties will include coordinating passengers with flight departures and arrivals, as well as providing ground crew support to pilots when needed. Effectively selling our products at the Glenorchy Air kiosk in the airport, over the phone or by email. Managing reservations with availability and efficiently keeping the team up to speed with changes to departures as they happen.
Experience within a Queenstown-based tourism role or coordinating a fast-paced operation would be preferred and a sales background a bonus but not essential.
Based at Queenstown Airport, you will be working in a busy environment with small, tight-knit team, so communication is key.
This is a rostered role, working varied hours between 6.30am – 18:30,
within a 7 day-a-week business. You must be available to work weekends!
