Glenorchy Air is a New Zealand scenic flight airline based in Queenstown.
We provide scenic flights from Queenstown and Glenorchy to many destinations around the South Island including Milford Sound, where you can also take the cruise. We also fly to Fiordland, Mt Cook, the Glaciers, the penguin and albatross colonies of Otago's east coast and to New Line Cinemas, Lord of the Rings movies location sites in the southern part of the South Island of New Zealand.
The temperature has dropped and the peaks are capped with snow. Winter is upon us and so we begin our 2018 Winter Timetable for our flights to Milford Sound.

to meet the Southern Discoveries Scenic Cruise in Milford Sound, and both trips include a delicious buffet lunch. Our Fly/Cruise and Kayak/Fly trip will depart at 10.30am and enjoys 4 hours in the majestic sound, with a picnic lunch.
A few months ago, November 2017, Glenorchy Air celebrated its 25th Anniversary of operating.
We are very pleased to be celebrating this milestone and proud to be part of the Queenstown aviation community for so many years.
We started with small beginnings in 1992, and now operate 5 aircraft out of our Queenstown Terminal base and airside hangar.
With over 10 staff members we are on target for flying 10,000 passengers in 2018! (Fingers crossed for the weather)
