Please call us on 0800 676 264 1 hour before your scheduled flight time on the day of your flight for your Weather Check.
If you are self driving to us at Queenstown Airport, your check in time is 30 minutes prior to departure.
We suggest you bring the following with you to make it a great day out:
- Any essential medication
- Sunglasses
- Camera – make sure it’s fully charged
- Warm clothing layers – our aircraft are heated, but a light layer is advised
- Sensible footwear
- Bottle of water
This flight over Mt. Aspiring is 1 hr 15 mins.
No. As we operate fixed-wing aircraft, we are unable to land on glaciers. This is a scenic 75-minute roundtrip flight.
The weather was absolutely perfect for our sightseeing flight over Mt. Aspiring and the surrounding area. This included glaciers, lakes and snow capped mountains pretty much as far as we could see. The pilot’s commentary was interesting and informative. He certainly did not give us the impression that he had done this flight many times over and that he was just ‘doing his job’. He was enthusiastic and clearly enjoyed piloting planes. The aircraft appeared in excellent order and the big windows made taking photos very easy. A first class experience.
