The Milford Foreshore loop track also leads to the Milford Swing which is a hidden treasure. The swing provides breath taking views of Mitre Peak. The swing was a romantic gesture by a worker in Milford Sound who built the swing for his girlfriend to enjoy. To reach the swing follow the foreshore walk until you cross a small wooden bridge, keep walking for five minutes and look carefully to your right and you will spot the swing.
